Celebrity Cruises has chosen to equip their Millennium class vessels, the Celebrity Millennium and the Celebrity Summit, with the latest version of the SAJ-DMS system for the dynamic remote measurements of vessels’ trim, hull-flexing, list, hull torsion and draft. The configuration builds the most trustful foundation to also manage hydrodynamic optimization by accuracy. SAJ Instrument Ab Ltd performed the retrofits as a complete turn-key project as a part of the fleet-wide modernization program that the Celebrity Cruises performed on these vessels. The Celebrity Millennium was upgraded at the Sembawang Shipyard in Singapore and the Celebrity Summit at the Grand Bahamas shipyard in Freeport, Bahamas.
